There have been a number of changes to consumer protection laws in relation to warranties.

As a result to comply with the Competition and Comsumer Act 2010 and the introduction of the Australian Consumer Law:

‘Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure’.

Warranty for the Replay XD1080 and available accessories is provided by Tomcat Distribution, www.tomcatdistribution.com.au, or see our details in the Contact Us section and should be read in conjunction with the Warranty document contained within the Replay XD1080.

The warranty is for 180 days from the date of purchase that the product will be free from defects in matterial and workmanship.

The warranty does not cover damage due to:

  • Accidents of any kind
  • Exposure to pressure, extreme temperatures (outside of -20 deg C to 45 deg C), submersion in water. This product is water resistant but not waterproof, shock resistant but not sock proof, and its performance can be hindered in extreme temperatures.
  • Installation and operation contrary to the instructions which come with the product, including misuse, abuse, and negligence.
  • Cosmetic damage.
  • Modification of or to any part of the product.

This warranty does not cover any product for which the factory applied serial number have been altered or removed or any damage due to improper maintenance. We may service, repair or replace  this product after determinig the failt.  For returns original sales receipts from place of purchase must be produced for any warranty service.

We only provide this warranty to products purchased from our Authorised Dealers and not to third party or directly imported items.

Note: The repair of your goods may result in the loss of any user-genreated data, please ensure taht you have made a copy of any data saved on your goods.
